Stena Oil achieves silver medal by EcoVadis
Stena Oil has seen increased client interest to present more of its sustainability and environmental work. In the autumn of 2022, an application to become certified by EcoVadis was therefore initiated.
The purpose of getting a rating like this is to get a good overall look at a company’s sustainability ranking compared to branch colleagues, customers, and competitors.Stena Oil AB was qualified with a Silver Medal and a certificate showing the same. To put it in perspective, the result places Stena Oil among the top 25 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis. Cecilia Ljung, HSSEQ & Sustainability Manager at SMI, who successfully secured a platinum ranking for SMI, provided excellent help during the process.
Pleased but not content
“We are pleased but not content with the result. It gives us a good indication of what we need to do to reach the next level, and we are eager to do so,” says Jenny Eriksson, Bunker Trader, Stena Oil.
