Certificates put Stena Oil as a front player of marine biofuels in Scandinavia

Stena Oil has been qualified with ICSS EU and ISCC Plus certificates. This means that biofuel can be bought and sold, supported with proof of sustainability. All in line with the Renewable Energy Directive (EU) 2018/2001 (RED II).

The International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) is a globally applicable sustainability certification system and covers all sustainable feedstocks, including agricultural and forestry biomass, biogenic wastes and residues, circular materials, and renewables.
